S04E17 Balsam Lake Provincial Park Review

We visited Balsam Lake Provincial Park in the Kawartha Lakes Region from September 9th to the 12th, 2022. This is a pretty big park with about 470 campsites spread out over 9 campgrounds. We hiked the Lookout Trail, Lorie's Link, Pond Loop and Woodland Loop. We kayaked and paddle boarded on Balsam Lake and enjoyed some time at the beach. We also visited the town of Fenelon Falls and enjoyed watching the boats go through Lock #34, part of the Trent Severn Waterway. In our next Park Review we go back to our favourite park, Algonquin. This time we stay at Mew Lake Campground for the first time. The leaves are just about at peak colour for the season. We almost didn't make it though! We had truck and trailer trouble on our way there.
