Spend a day with me in the kitchen as I make chicken stock for the first time! I'm so excited with how this turned out – it's something I've wanted to do for a long time, and I'm glad to have another skill added to my homemade repertoire. I also threw together a loaf of my crusty no-knead bread – recipe as follows: Mix 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1.5 cups very warm water. Once combined, cover and set aside in a warm spot for 6-24 hours. When ready to bake, preheat your oven to 450 degrees F, and let your dutch oven or other baking pans heat up in the oven while it comes to temp. While oven preheats, turn your dough onto a floured surface and form it into a round. Optionally, place the round on a square of parchment paper. Once the oven is heated, remove the dutch oven or pans and place your dough (optionally on the parchment paper) inside. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove lid and bake for another 15 minutes uncovered. Let cool and enjoy! Don't forget to subscribe :)
