Aino Löwenmark (piano, vocals) and Hanmari Spiegel (violin, vocals), the Swedish - South African duo known by the name „Fjarill“ which derives from „fjäril“, the Swedish word for butterfly, have already been making music together for 15 years. They both live in Hamburg which is why they speak German with each other and mainly perform in Germany. Most of their songs are sung in Swedish, even though they also have some songs written in Afrikaans, German and English. These songs sung in foreign languages don't always have to be understood, they have to be felt! If you haven’t already, you really should check out Fjarill's simply unique and enchanting music!
