More classic TV commercials from "WWF Raw" and "WWF War Zone" on USA Network, originally aired on July 6, 1998. For you "Monday Night War" junkies, this night's "Raw" episode featured DX's iconic parody of The Nation of Domination. So iconic, Peacock opted to erase the whole segment from history instead of putting up a disclaimer that certain people who shouldn't be watching professional wrestling may very well be offended by blackface. Can't spell Peacock without....I digress. All materials presented are the properties of their respective companies. Editor's note: some commercials were heavily re-aired during this broadcast, and the repeats have been edited out of this collection. 0:00 - WWF Raw Promo with USA Network split credits for "Walker, Texas Ranger" 0:37 - "Coneheads" Promo 0:47 - "There's Something About Mary" Trailer #1 1:17 - Cinn-A-Burst 1:47 - Burger King (Ad #1 - "Small Soldiers") 2:17 - Old Spice High Endurance 2:47 - "The Net" Promo 3:17 - 1-800-COLLECT 3:47 - Several seconds of dark screen followed by a partial promo for WCW/nWo Bash at the Beach 4:18 - Sherlock Holmes on A&E ("July to Die For") 4:48 - "Sins of the City" Promo #1 5:18 - "Halloween H2O: 20 Years Later" Trailer 5:48 - Banjo Kazooie 6:18 - Burger King (Ad #2 - Breakfast) 6:48 - Honda Valkyrie 7:18 - "La Femme Nikita" Promo 7:48 - Skittles 8:18 - Zest Body Wash (Anybody else have Chris Berman's voice bellowing out "Iron Head" in their head right now?) 8:48 - "BASEketball" Trailer 9:19 - RJ's Eatery 9:49 - Happyland Pet Center 10:19 - WWF SummerSlam 1998 Countdown (Digitizing this tape, it was the first time I ever noticed this early prototype of the SummerSlam logo. I can see why they were trying to capitalize on the whole "Highway to Hell" tagline, with the AC/DC-inspired lightning bolt. I can also see why the logo doesn't exactly scream "Attitude Era.") 10:32 - "Lethal Weapon 4" Trailer 11:03 - Samuel Adams 11:33 - Toaster Strudel 12:03 - "Small Soldiers" Trailer #1 12:33 - "Sins of the City" Promo #2 13:03 - Stridex 13:33 - Degree 14:03 - Discovery Kids on TCI Digital Cable 14:34 - Austad's 15:04 - "There's Something About Mary" Trailer #2 15:34 - Pep Boys (Ad #1 - Any 4 for $99) 16:04 - North Shore Nissan 16:34 - Lane Bryant 17:04 - Mortal Kombat 4 17:34 - Pep Boys (Ad #2 - ProStart Batteries) 17:49 - "Small Soldiers" Trailer #2 18:04 - Just For Men 18:34 - "Small Soldiers" Trailer #3 18:49 - Pep Boys (Ad #3 - Castrol Motor Oil) 19:04 - Tomorrow on USA
