After breaking Barry Sanders touchdown record for a season, Jamaal Williams and The Detroit Lions couldn't come to a financial agreement and Williams went to the New Orlean Saints. During the 2023 draft, The Detroit Lions drafted running back, Jahmyr Gibbs at the 12th pick overall. This drew a lot of criticism since running backs don't normally get drafted so high. General Manager, Brad Holmes, was sure that it was the right decision, and time proved him right. Due to back and forth injuries, the two running backs didn't find their groove with the offense until week 10. The rest is history. They are labeled as the greatest running back duo in the NFL.
