North of Digne-Les-Bains, the valley of the river Bléone, later the river La Bés, leads north for about 24 km to the village of Barles. Until then, the road changes the sides of the valley several times. On the way to Barles, among other things, two narrow passages are passed. First the Clue de Perouré and then the Clue de Barles. At the first bottleneck there is also a small tunnel. The road is easy and good to ride. Every now and then you have to watch out for bicyclists passing through this gorge. In 2020, the road was closed to all traffic for weeks because of a massive landslide. The area belongs to the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department and here in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region.
