Hi everyone, I know it's been awhile since my last upload, but alas, finally new releases that I actually am excited for. Today I will be reviewing the newest JPG Gaultier 2 that is a modernised version of the Original Gaultier 2 released in 2005. This 100ml/3.4 fl oz bottle was purchased from Jean Paul Gaultier's Official website from Spain for £79/$100. As the packaging describes, the Woody, Floral and Powdery scent is clearly present in opening, mid and dry down that brings a unique and vintage scent after spraying it on. After about 30-minutes, the Jasmine floral notes starts to blend perfectly with the Sandalwood and a small hint of sweet Blood Orange note. I sprayed a total of 5 times. Twice behind each ear, twice on the front of neck, and once in front of my chest. The projection and longevity is amazingly good, it lasts approximately 11 hours before disappearing completely and projects easily to fill a room for the first hour. (Depends on skin types) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Overall Rating (8/10) If this was how Gaultier 2 smelt like in 2005 during it's first release, I can see why the scent is so sought after even after more than 2 decades. JPG did an amazing job listening to the JPG fans by allowing them to vote which scent JPG should modernise and re-release to the public. I would highly recommend you to try this, if you couldn't manage to get hold of the 2005 version. Do give it a few wears before you decide as this has a very distinct 'vintage' scent.
