Everything that Bhagawan gave to us was for the benefit of mankind...to grant us joy and fill us with bliss. On July 9, 1995, Swami blessed His children with one such beautiful gift, the Sai Kulwant Hall. This hall which today has become iconic of the Sathya Sai Avatar was constructed by Sri Kulwant Rai, an industrialist from Delhi. Bhagawan had lovingly saved him from what would have otherwise been a fatal heart attack. In gratitude, Sri Kulwant Rai offered to Bhagawan this beautiful hall for the sake of all the devotees who had till then been bearing the harsh midday sun and the seasonal downpours to get one darshan of their Lord. This video shows Swami cutting the ribbon and blessing the Kulwant Hall, granting a special darshan seated next to a royal peacock, looking like Sai Subramanya, and accepting various offerings of devotees. Swami then speaks on the importance of developing love in the heart and serving one and all selflessly. He then ends His discourse saying, "This hall is now called the Sai Kulwant Hall!"
