Murphy the Chocolate Lab is wrapping up his second week of Board and Train at Best Paw Forward Dog Training! In today’s video, we focused on strengthening his Place command with door manners and his Leave It cue — two essential skills for calm behavior and everyday structure. Along with today’s training, we also talked about a couple of videos from earlier this week showing Murphy’s progress with: 🐾 Meet & Greets — practicing polite, calm greetings 🐾 Reactivity Work — learning to stay focused and controlled around another dog In today’s session, Murphy practiced: 🐾 Holding Place while the door opened and closed 🐾 Staying calm during real-life door distractions 🐾 Improving his Leave It cue and impulse control 🐾 Building confidence and focus around movement and temptation Murphy has made huge improvements this week, showing more consistency, better self-control, and stronger engagement with his handler.
