This is the 3rd problem of ratio. If you have not see the first 2 videos I strongly advise to watch at least the 2nd video on the series: ✔️ Ratio #1: TOTAL amount does not change ! • Ratio #1: TOTAL amount does not change ! ✔️ Ratio #2: TOTAL amount CHANGES ! • Ratio #2: TOTAL amount CHANGES ! There are many types of ratio problems. Some times the total amount of items both parts have does not change while some other exercises deal with change on the total amount (something is getting into the system or leaving the system). When ever is the case, we always try to solve by making some part of the problem be equal. To know what part should be the same is the core of the solution and for that we need to work on a parallel problem and then get it back to the original one. This is what amazes me on this type of exercise: If yo can't solve the way it is, then make some changes to a version of the exercise you CAN solve. Then come back and find the original solution. I invite you to sole this problem with me. Together we will have a great time talking about math while our minds get flooded with stimulus 😉. ❇️ ON THIS PROBLEM: Two sisters, Cloe and Zoe, are preparing cookiesl. Cloe makes the dark chocolate cookies and gives 3/4 to Zoe. Zoe makes the nut cookies and gives 2/3 to Cloe. Cloe gives 3 dark cookies to her mom and 10 nut cookies to her classmates. Zoe noticed he already had 6 dark chocolate cookies from the day before and join them with the ones Cloe just made, but since Zoe loves nut cookies, she ate 2 of those. At the end Cloe’s ratio of dark to nut cookies is 5:4. Zoe ended up having 6 times as much dark cookies than nut cookies. How many more cookies did Cloe prepared then Zoe? On this video we will: 1️⃣ Being able to turn the exercise into another one easier to solve; 2️⃣ Trying to find a solution when apparently there are missing information; 3️⃣ Learn to create, visualize and connect the dots; 4️⃣ Create multiple tables in an organized way. 🔥 Content : 0:00 - Introduction: previous Ratio videos 1:25 - Ratio 1 video in a nutshell 1:52 - Ratio 2 video in a nutshell 3:35 - Presenting the actual problem 5:13 - 1st Table: PROBLEM 10:06 - 2nd Table: MODEL 14:40 - solving equations for our MODEL 16:30 - ❓ A question for YOU !! 🖐️ 17:50 - 3rd Table: MODEL UPDATED 20:40 - 4th Table: PROBLEM 24:18 - ❓ Another question FOR YOU !🖐️ 26:00 - Writing the answer 27:20 - ⭐ Full Revision of this Problem !! ⭐ 28:50 - Thanks 🙏, subscribe 👍
