Let the work begin! - the work of building the santuary ( i.e. the tabernacle, the Ark, the Table, the Lampstand, the Altar, the Basin, the courtyard, and the priestly garments). Bezalel, son of Uri and Oholiab, son of Ahisamak, will lead the design work. These men are exceptionally skilled - God has filled them with His Spirit. The people willingly give much much more than is needed. Moses will have to stop them. The details of every inch of the design have been commanded by God to Moses during the 40 days and 40 nights on the mountain. God is not going to be harvazard, but extremely orderly and precise. Lesson: God does take things very seriously. He will not just let anybody do His work. Everyone who claims to do Gods work must be filled with His Spirit in order to carry out God's work. Paul would echo the same words to Titus. Titus 2:7-8 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
