Sunday Service: Overcoming Hurdles: Living in God's Strength 02/08/2026

Life’s challenges often push us to rely on our own strength, but Proverbs 24:10 reveals a deeper truth: when we falter in times of trouble, it exposes the limits of human strength. Rather than discouraging us, this reality invites us into a different way of living. While the world values independence and self-sufficiency, Scripture teaches that true strength is found in hoping in the Lord, trusting Him in quietness, and allowing His power to meet us in our weakness. Throughout Scripture we see that God’s strength is revealed most clearly when we recognize our own limitations. Like Paul, who learned to delight in weakness because Christ’s power rested on him, we are invited to humble ourselves before God and rely on His strength instead of our own. When we acknowledge our need and place our trust in Him, we create space for His power to work in our lives as we faithfully run the race set before us.
