FREE Diagrams + Tabs + Backing Tracks To Accompany This Video: https://drive.google.com/drive/folder... 🎸 Learn guitar. Build fluency. Create music. Links + resources → https://linktr.ee/jinolee This is open skill practice — where interval knowledge turns into phrasing and expression. Instead of drilling permutations, you’ll explore 3rds, 5ths, and 6ths inside a musical context using the backing track. The goal here isn’t coverage. It’s clarity, intention, and sound. 🎵 How to use the backing track (3 minutes): Minute 1 — 3rds only Improvise using just 3rds Try hammer-ons, pull-offs, or hybrid picking double-stops Listen for the contrast between major (bright) and minor (darker) sounds Minute 2 — 5ths + 6ths Use 5ths for strength and stability Use 6ths for melody and vocal phrasing Slide into them, bend into them, add vibrato Let notes breathe — don’t rush Minute 3 — Free for all Mix intervals naturally Reuse ideas from earlier lessons Follow your ear 💡 Pro tips: Keep it simple — one small idea played well beats many ideas rushed Repeat short motifs and vary them with different intervals If you feel lost, land on an anchor note and reset 👉 This is where scales stop feeling like exercises and start sounding like music. Take your time. Listen closely. Let the fretboard talk back. #fretboardfluency
