A tip-off from a YouTube prehistorian about a forgotten prehistoric bowl barrow in the mountains. Difficult to find and on the 'Heritage at Risk' register. Sounds like a job for WC21 (UK) Productions Ltd. In this film we bring you with us as we try to find it, stopping off at that "Immense Fragment of Rock" known as the Bowder Stone along the way. It's a bit more of a climb than anticipated, but with fading light, there's the bowl barrow on the side of Brund Fell. It's difficult to make out, but the view down to the valley is sublime and must have been the reason for the burial being sited here? A call to Historic England to try and find out what the risk is and why the action plan has not been actioned. Thanks to @AdamMorganIbbotson for inspiring this film and hopefully the picture will appear in the next edition of his book.
