About our Mercedes Vario 614D Our build started off as a van, well a light truck really and was then converted into a minibus to use as a school bus. The Vario is a bit like a European version of a short bus - we don't have 'schoolies' unless they are imported but this is what we have, it's even a similar size. After doing many years service as a school bus and community bus we bought it and converted it into our tiny home on wheels. Gross weight 5990kg.
