Is it possible to replace the hall-effect sensor reliably and properly - no bodgy clipped leads and soldered legs to legs? Well, yes it is if you're careful and take your time! This is a Sony SL-F25 which i thought I'd removed all the glue from but actually hadn't and I paid the price! One of the few hall-effect devices I have left has been fitted. No chapters on this one.
