We spent a day hiking the Stoos Ridge Trail during our family trip to Switzerland. One of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever done! The Stoos Ridge hike from Klingenstock to Fronalpstock is highly praised for its breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding Alps. We did the hike in the summertime, and it really tested our endurance, as the trail features steep stair sections, constant ups and downs, and exposed, unrailed paths. But the views are absolutely spectacular! Not to mention the ride on the world’s steepest funicular, the Stoosbahn Funicular, it was such a surreal experience!
