I've worked on many Davinci Resolve projects with a lot of photos and video clips combined. Both may come from many sources and usually require modifications. I find this more with photos; I initially focus on the placement of the media to tell the story then go back to make size and quality improvements. I've had a bad habit of resizing photos to fit 1920x1080, seeing they are either blurry and/or pixelated, modifiying them outside of DaVinci Resolve then manually replacing them in the Timeline. It's a very time consuming process. This video demonstrates a faster workflow. I'm using Topaz Photo but this workflow could be used with many other software.
