Veterans Without Family Honors 27 June 2017

On Wednesday 21 June 2017, Three (3) American Heroes will be honored at the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518. The Three (3) Veterans being transported by the Los Angeles County Coroner are: Lovejoh, Carl, 70, U.S. Navy, Vietnam Kaigler, Clarence, 81, U.S. Marine Corps, Korea Wilson, Thomas, 74, U.S. Air Force, Vietnam We will also recognize those veterans that have been brought to RNC within the past week for direct burial without final honors. The PGR will be there to be the family for these veterans and will stand by while military honors are rendered by the California National Guard Honor Team at Riverside National Cemetery. May the souls of these veterans rest in peace alongside their brothers and sisters beneath the green sod of a Nation they helped to keep free. They are not alone, we are their family. “If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise, Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days, Perhaps just a simple headline in a paper that would say, Our Country is in mourning, for a soldier died today.” NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Military Veterans.
