Singapore Airlines Business Class – Copenhagen to Singapore (SQ 351) – Boeing 777-300ER

In this trip video, we review Singapore Airlines’ B777-300ER long-range Business Class product on board a flight from Copenhagen to Singapore. Pre-flight, passengers are directed to the SAS Lounge as Singapore Airlines don’t have their own lounge in Copenhagen. The lounge is divided into a basic “business lounge” and a “Gold lounge” for Star Alliance Gold and other VIP frequent flyers. Business Class passengers on SQ 351 are directed to the former, which we found to be modern, spacious and not too crowded. The only disappointing aspect of the lounge was the food and drink offering, which we thought to be very ordinary for an international Business Class lounge. The aircraft flown in this video is one of the airline’s latest 4-class B777-300ERs and sports one of the newest Business Class products. There are 48 lie-flat seats arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration and spread out over 2 cabins. In the video, we review the seat in immense detail with a focus on the different seating positions, storage spaces, legroom, seat space, IFE, lighting, in-flight service and so forth. During the 11 hours flight, two delicious meals are served – lunch and breakfast. We enjoyed how the menu is inspired by a handful of world-famous chefs. Throughout the flight, passengers have access to a dine-anytime menu with various tasty snacks to choose from. Mid-flight, we also get to sample the lie-flat bed which comes with a comfortable mattress pad, a couple of oversized pillows and a thick blanket. Unfortunately, pyjamas and amenity kits are not provided as part of the Business Class experience.
