I was going to make a film in Unreal Engine, by myself, and see if I could actually finish it. That decision became PRAZINBURK RIDGE: a ten-minute World War One action drama inspired by a true story. What started as a technical experiment quickly turned into something much bigger — a crash course in solo filmmaking, storytelling under constraint, and finding creative solutions when you have no money, no crew, and wildly inconsistent assets. This video isn’t the film itself. It’s the story behind the film: how it was written, how it evolved, why I chose a stylised look, how cel shading and painterly post-process effects helped unify the visuals, and how Unreal Engine made it possible to turn limitations into a coherent, finished piece of work.
