Driving the worlds only F11 M5 Touring - The car BMW should have made.

BMW has a bit of a funny history with M5 Tourings, having made one for the E34, then again with the E61. On the used market these cars command a premium over their saloon variants, but initial sales must not be high enough for BMW to have produced one for the F11, despite Mercedes Benz and Audi both offering Estate variants of its AMG and RS models. Whilst this has always been a shame, it has meant that the aftermarket can step in and create what BMW didn't, with seemingly more and more M Tourings being created as time goes on. Most are in body only, usually opting to choose the highest power output standard car and tuning that rather than swapping the drivetrain, but that's not what has been done here. CFD stepped up, and with the help of Aulitzky Tuning, created the worlds first true F11 M5, with the full running gear and drivetrain swapped in from an F10 M5, and of course the aesthetics also. They then went one step further, tuning the car to an estimated 800hp, with more to come. With plenty of experience driving F10 M5's, Imran took the F11 M5 out for a drive, to see how it compares to what BMW M make themselves, and chat to the owner Malte about the build.
