The Google News Initiative recently unveiled Journalist Studio, "a collection of tools to empower journalists to do their work more efficiently, creatively, and securely.' Pinpoint is one of the crown jewels of the collection: a tool that helps reporters use Google Search, speech-to-text, and other AI-powered technologies to search through scanned PDFs, images, handwritten notes, e-mails and audio files.
