This epic 9 day long journey covers three districts of Gandaki, Kaski, Lamjung and Manang. We travel from Pokhara all the way to Timang Village of Manang, on foot which is just fascinating to think back. Traversing the ancient foottrails of the Gurung Ancestors, Dudhpokhari Trek passes through various communities and villages and numerous highland pastures. The first section ends at Pasgau and is called the “Royal Gurkhas Trail”. This trail encompasses sections of Royal Trek, once a very popular trek in the foothills of Annapurna. The villages on this route are home to the mighty Gurkha Soldiers whose bravery is known throughout the world.
