After walking many different segments of the Northampton to Market Harborough dismantled railway, which is now known as the Brampton Valley Way. I decide to walk the dismantled line from Northampton to Pittsford & Brampton station. Designed and built by George R Stephenson, the Northampton to Market Harborough line was opened in 1859 and closed on 26th August 1973. so come take a walk with me and maybe we might find a relic or two on the way to the Northampton and Lamport Railway center.
