Our need for steam at The Great Central Railway

Sunday 3rd March 2024 After missing out on the previous week's Mainline steam train movement (Sir Nigel Gresley and a Black5), I felt the urge to get my steam fulfilment at the Great Central Railway . My 2yr old toddler Thomas comes along and my Co-videographer Ryan MG joins us too. I had no idea what trains were running but when we got there, a beautiful G.W.R Modified Hall named Witherslack Hall was there to greet us. What made this engine special is that I've just been and visited the place these locomotives were made. Swindon. Tommy had a blast and I collected some beautiful drone shots of both G.C.R and E.M.R Loughborough Railway Stations. great to see the unification coming along nicely too. Thank you to the volunteers of G.C.R who showed us all great kindness and another big shout out to Ryan MG for looking after Thomas whilst I was in flight. Such a legend.
