This division of power is divided into 3 heads: Legislative Relation between Union and State Article 245-255 Administrative Relation between the union and State Article 256-263 Financial Relations between Union and State - 264-293 In this video, we will discuss the first part of the Centre-State Relations i.e., Legislative Relations from Article 245-255 of the Indian Constitution. Legislative Relations is further classified into 2 aspects:- 1. Territorial Jurisdiction - which is dealt with mainly under Article 245. The article describes the Law making the power of the Parliament and of the State Legislature. It also speaks about the extra-Territorial Jurisdiction of the laws made by the Parliament. 2. Subject Matter Jurisdiction - In this, we will see the 7th Schedule of the Constitution.
