The day here starts with the tastiest breakfast either esphanj (donuts) or Mesammen sandwich with egg and cream cheese and additional to the green Moroccan tea. The city of Casablanca is the major economic city in Casablanca. People come to Casablanca from different parts of the surrounded cities to work. Rail transportation is the most important form of travel in Morocco. I love visiting the train station for a cup of coffee in the morning from the Starbucks cafe located inside the train station. Around my hotel the atmosphere is so nice, there are so many street food options they serve all kinds of breakfast. Even though, there is a breakfast available in my hotel, I still like to go out and discover these street food vendors to see the authentic touch of how the local people starts their day here in Casablanca and to taste the vibrant of the different amazing Moroccan food flavors. The day really starts in a serious motion around 11am. Moroccan food is inexpensive the average meal cost is a bout 50 Moroccan dirham or $5 USD. On this video I visited the historic Sqala restaurant located near the port of Casablanca. This restaurant offers a variety of traditional Moroccan dishes like couscous, sea, and all kinds of tangines. I went for the fish tagline.
