TAIWAN Day 4| Sky Lantern Activity & Yehliu Geopark | How to get to Shifen & Yehliu | Taiwan Vlog. In this vlog, we traveled to yehliu geopark via bus and shifen via train. There are lots of experiences you can do in shifen because there are many foods and drinks to try. Shifen Old Street is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Taiwan. Foreign tourists flock to this tiny village on the Pingxi Railway Line to write their wishes on sky lanterns and release them to the sky from the train tracks. While on the other side there is a popular Shifen waterfall which you can also visit but for us, we dont have much time to visit the waterfall. I would also recommend yehliu geopark since this is one of the most beautiful place we had been not only in taiwan. The orange rocks of Yehliu Geopark look like something from a different planet. Towering rock formations have been battered into bizarre shapes by the elements, many of them resembling people’s profiles or random items.
