Boardmasters Surf Open | Day 4 at Boardmasters 2025

Longboard semi finalists and QS 2000 finalists were all confirmed on Day 4 of Boardmasters 2025. First to take to the water were the quarters of the LQS, with dominant performances by both last year's winner and runner-up, namely France's Edouard Del Pero and Cornwall's own Ben Skinner. Other standouts included the Reunion Island pair Ophelie Ah Kouen and Alice Lemoigne, as well as Devonian Emily Currie and the Italian teenager Ginger Caimi. For the QS 2000 heats, the high-tide crowd enjoyed a spectacle which included both Basque sisters Annette and Janire Gonzalez-Extabarri posting huge scores, along with former champ and double Olympian Yolanda Hopkins form Portugal. The Olympians continued the charge in the mens too, with Spain's Andy Criere shredding into the final along with compatriot Sean Gunning, where there will no doubt be further fireworks, as awaiting them there is the defending champ Lukas Skinner, who also advanced in blistering form. Finals Day looks set to be another cracker, with great conditions in the forecast.
