The most important symptoms here are joint pain, joint swelling and joint stiffness. Important signs when examining the patients include swelling and tenderness of the joints. Important labs include those for inflammation parameters like erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein. Also labs for autoantibodies like rheumatoid factor, anti-CCP antibody and anti-nuclear antibody are important.
