International Labour Law

Learners arrive at this video familiar with the system of labour standards found in treaty-based international law (including the ILO's labour standards). In this video, you will be introduced to a few important ILO conventions and to some UN human rights conventions. As you did while learning India's domestic or national labour law, you will go through a few different aspects of international labour law - collective relations, wages, social security, conditions of work, the equality of sexes at the workplace, the prohibition of exploitation, and the training of labour. This is the third lecture from the module on Labour Standards.
