Fall River, MA firefighters battle overnight 3-alarm mill fire.

Fall River firefighters arrived to find a fully involved mill building at the corner of Kilburn and Charles streets shortly before 3am. The building is located at the southwest corner of the "King Philip Mills" (according to Google Places). A third alarm provided additional manpower and apparatus to the scene to assist in the initial interior attack on the fire. Crews were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the main mill building, attached by a causeway. At one point, 2 ladder pipes as well as at least 5 hand lines were in operation. There were no initial reports of serious injuries although several ambulances were called to the scene, including one for a civilian who needed medical attention. Neighbors in the area say that the mill building was currently in use and someone may have been living in the building that caught fire. Reports suggest that the fire was a result of arson.
