Tozeur, Tunis - Part 1: The Town

Wednesday 15 August We decided to go to Tozeur a day early, but we had to wait a few hours in Gabes until 12:30 for the bus. Ramadan has its pros and cons. No problem arriving a day early at Residence El Arich in Tozeur. There were obviously not many staying there, as we were given a number of keys to see which room we wanted. The last one we saw was much better than the others, almost a suite, with a little hallway and separate doors to the bedroom and bathroom. There was air-conditioning and satellite television, with about five hundred channels, mostly in Arabic, but we got CNN, BBC and a couple of movie channels, which was a good thing because we had to spend a lot of time in the room and do our exploring at night and in the morning. It was just so hot! This is the first of four videos we made in Tozeur, just focussing on the town itself.
