"Fog of war": The grid is covered in fog, which will lift to reveal clues as correct digits are entered. "Filler": Shade some cells such that each digit in row 1 (top) indicates the count of shaded cells in its column, and each digit in column 1 (far left) indicates the count of shaded cells in its row. E.g. a 3 in r1c8 indicates that there are 3 shaded cells in column 8. "Yin Yang": All shaded cells must form one orthogonally connected region, as must all unshaded cells, and no 2x2 square can consist of only shaded or only unshaded cells. "Balancer lines": Along balancer lines, the sum of the digits in shaded cells equals the sum of the digits in unshaded cells. The lines do not branch. All lines are red, except when two lines share a cell, in which case one of the overlapping lines is coloured purple. Lines only overlap at points, i.e. no entire line segments are hidden underneath an overlapping line.
