Solo Adventure | Cycling The John Muir Way

Like a lot of people, I got into cycling during the lockdown in 2020. After building up some confidence on the bike I really wanted to explore the beautiful scenery of Scotland on a route that wouldn't be too technical or would require a car. I came across The John Muir Way and thought it would be perfect for my gravel bike! I did the route over three days (middle day was a bit of a beast) but couldn't spread it out any longer due to prior commitments. I loved this trip, I found it challenging enough for a first solo adventure and felt safe in the knowledge I wasn't too far from small towns/villages or a train station. My goal was to really enjoy the outdoors and take my time - 'meander' would be a good description. I hope you enjoy my journey :)
