Welcome to 12 Days of Centeredness — a gentle daily pause to help you reconnect with yourself, soothe your system, and show up with the grounded presence your kids (and you) deserve. I’m Allyn Miller, a parent coach who helps conscious moms respond instead of react. I teach simple, body-based tools that make calm feel possible in real life, even on the messy days. My work blends nervous system education, compassionate guidance, and a deep belief that you don’t need to be perfect — you just need support and a few trustworthy skills you can return to. Today’s Practice: Three Sighs When you exhale fully and intentionally, your parasympathetic nervous system gets to work calming your system and decreasing the flow of stress chemicals in your body. This practice offers three variations of increasingly bigger sighs, so you can experience larger and deeper exhales. As always, if you find that something feels uncomfortable or distressing, just pause and pivot to something that feels better. The way you experience a practice today isn't the way you'll experience it forever. And if you go for it... you might find yourself laughing at the end! If you want to go deeper: ❇️ Subscribe to my weekly Press Pause newsletter for the full 12 Days of Centeredness and ongoing weekly support: https://child-connection.myflodesk.co... ❇️ Grab my free guide, The #1 Tool for Moms to Keep Cool (my stress scale system that helps you respond instead of react): https://child-connection.myflodesk.co... ❇️ Work with me: If you’re craving steadier emotional footing and more ease at home, you can explore coaching here: https://child-connection.com/parentin... Thanks for being here. Your willingness to pause and reconnect is the first step toward a calmer, more centered home… the place where your child will want to return for the holidays. 🤗 Was this practice helpful?
