(96) Colour Split Open cup & Dutch Pour ~ Ocean inspired Open cup and Dutch Pour ~ Acrylic Pour. Hello all, I'm back with another Acrylic Pour painting. For today's video I did an Open cup & Dutch Pour, this was for a challenge in the Facebook group Acrylic paint pouring challenge (link below), this group run by the wonderful Trish Dunning is so friendly and a lot of fun. She sets some great challenges for the group members, great if you fancy a change from your normal pouring experience. https://www.facebook.com/groups/78417... I was inspired by the fabulous @olgasoby to create this beautiful piece on an Oval canvas. I used Titanium White and Prussian blue for a colour split base, and used colours that remind me of the ocean. I really enjoyed this acrylic pour, a little different from my usual technique and one I'll definitely be doing again. I love using different fluid art techniques and the Dutch Pour is one of my favourites. For this Split Colour base I wanted a good contrast and complimentary colours in the Dutch Pour. I hope you enjoy today's paint pouring. Let me know in the comments what you think. Colours and medium recipe below.
