If you are at all interested in rock tumbling or gem polishing this is a must see! I picked up this amazing British made vintage rock tumbler for a song. It probably won't work for long but while it is working it is a wonderful bit of kit to behold and great fun. If you are rock tumbling in the UK your choice of machines is a bit limited, you could opt for a simple single barrel National geographic model or one of the few British made tumblers, from Beach tumblers or Evans, but none of them are as interesting or innovative as this 40 year old machine. I dearly wish I could pick up a working model complete with extra barrels and extensions frames. The instructions say this gem or rock tumbler could run up to five barrels, Amazing! I will try to restore this machine but I will struggle to find suitable replacement parts. I would love to have it going and see it tumbling my beach rocks or trundling away grinding down agates.
