Wyoming State Capitol

Cheyenne is the most populous city in the least populous state. It has been a tradition in my family to stop at all the state capitols wherever we travel. This was my first time visiting Wyoming's capital city. We had been camping in the northern part of the state (Big Horn Mts) for three days, so it took many hours to get to Cheyenne in the southeastern corner. After visiting the capitol grounds it was only 10 miles to reach the Colorado border. We spent the night in Ft. Collins, then 2 nights of camping in Rocky Mt National Park before heading home to Texas.
