Achieving indifference to the past can be a powerful tool for emotional well being. The past, with its experiences, memories and regrets, often weighs heavily on our present state of mind. How many of us have lost valuable time in our lives, ruminating over a situation or someone, - and then the "what if I had done this or that?" and scenarios that we didn't and cannot change? You can't go back, you can never go back and if you do make it back, it's gone, the time is over. I've found some segways and roads out of overthinking, and perhaps you have to. We do what we must, to get passed giving the past energy, and eventually sweet indifference lands. So here's to not blocking life but to meet it without flinching.
