This series is a demonstration of how I create a 2D representation of a 3D model in SketchUp, then export it as a DXF file for use in VCarve Pro. More info down there ↓↓↓. Click SEE MORE. In this video, I demonstrate how I download a model from the SketchUp 3D Warehouse and modify it in order to export a DXF file. Along the way, we’ll convert a collection of surfaces to components, move and rotate those components into position, inspect the components with the Solid Inspector extension, then finally export the DXF file.
