For several years it was assumed that no footage of Johnny Rougeau's All-Star Wrestling promotion from Montreal (the top Quebec wrestling promotion from its inception in 1965 until 1971 when the Vachons founded the rival Grand Prix) had survived. Thankfully, that problem has been slightly rectified as I have a few extant clips from the dying days of All-Star (All-Star managed to outlast Grand Prix during their promotional wars of 1971-1974 and still promoted cards up through 1976). Unfortunately, this brief clip is all that remains (unless a complete copy ever surfaces) of a 2/3 falls bout between Jacques Rougeau Sr. and Stan Stasiak. The indefatigable Eddie the Brain Creatchman is in Stasiak's corner for this bout. That's Johnny Rougeau providing the play-by-play for this match taped at the Paul-Sauvé Centre in Montreal.
