Day 31 (Leviticus Chapters 5 to 7): Daily Wisdom Principles From Dr Leesi Mitee Bible In One Year Reading Plan Leviticus chapter five addresses guilt offerings, highlighting accountability for unintentional sins and failures in responsibility. Chapter six continues with instructions on restitution, honesty, and proper conduct in worship, as well as duties of the priests regarding offerings. Chapter seven concludes the sacrificial laws by summarising the guilt, sin, burnt, grain, and peace offerings, emphasising holiness, obedience, and gratitude in approaching God. These chapters reveal practical wisdom for daily living before God. God values honesty, responsibility, and repentance when wrong has been done. True worship is not only about ritual, but about integrity in relationships and obedience in conduct. Restitution teaches that repentance involves making things right, not merely feeling remorse. The peace offering reminds us that gratitude and fellowship with God should mark a life lived in obedience. Wisdom teaches us to take responsibility for our actions, pursue reconciliation, worship God sincerely, and live with continual awareness of His holiness.
