April 23, 2025 7:16am The first catch of the day being Amtrak 522 nearly meeting 11 here at Vaughn Rd while 11 was also being led by a BNSF locomotive. I would get ahead of this Amtrak lead by BNSF but I didn't film it again as I was waiting in Richmond on the RPRC. Although, from hearing two different horns, this train raced the RPRC at Cutting Blvd which would have been a cool catch there but I needed to set up where I was going to film the RPRC on their line. Since I last filmed this crossing on Vaughn Rd, the bell sequence was changed here from ring till gate start rising to ring through whole activation. Amtrak California Capitol Corridor Train 522 westbound passes by first minutes before Amtrak Coast Starlight Train 11 led by a BNSF unit on the UP Martinez Sub passes through the Vaughn Road railroad crossing in Dixon, California.
