Improving early learning outcomes for children with disabilities is 1 of the 14 priority topics of the Parent Center network. The presenters discussed how Parent Centers can: (a) use the training modules of NICHCY’s curriculum Building the Legacy for Our Youngest Children with Disabilities to inform families and train staff about early intervention systems and what Part C of IDEA requires; and (2) use the resources and materials of the ECTA Center with families and staff, and in their SSIP work.
