They discuss a number of topics related to the Partition of India and the formation of the new Pakistani state, especially close to the final days. They discuss many of the key players including Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Liaquat Ali Khan, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Lord Mountbatten, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. They discuss how important these figures were to how history played itself out and discuss how different things could have turned out if Jinnah had a Nehru like Gandhi did. They discuss the possibility of a united India under one Governor-General with Jinnah leading the nation. They discuss how Jinnah did the best he could do possible as a single leader, as he didn’t have the same caliber of people around him like Gandhi had. The Muslims basically only had Jinnah, while the Hindus had the trinity of Gandhi, Patel, and Nehru. Jinnah played the role of all three of these people. If Jinnah had this level of people with him, things would have been very different. In Part 2, they debate whether Gandhi was on the Muslims side or not. They discuss many specific topics like Aga Khan suggesting making Arabic the official language of the Muslim country. Aftab discusses language and how Jinnah was a political leader of a scattered nation, and he sewed it together with the Urdu language. They also consider Punjabi. He has produced television content for many years. This new channel will have many different shows on many different subjects. Aftab Iqbal is also a noted journalist who writes for numerous English-Language and Urdu-Language publications including the English The News International and Newsweek Pakistan as well as the Urdu-language Nawa-i-Waqt. He graduated with a master's degree from the Government College University in Lahore in 1985 and studied media at San Jose State University in California in 1986. From 1994 to 1995, Aftab Iqbal even served as media adviser to the Chief Minister of Punjab. He brings his experience and broad breadth of knowledge to the table.
