Following the success of 50:50 The Equality Project and Media Trust’s Reframing Disability programme, we’re thrilled to announce the continuation of this partnership with the Media Trust and ScreenSkills’ Reframing Disability Mentoring Programme. We want to move the dial on the representation of disabled talent in off-screen roles in the UK screen industries. Together, we will match early-stage and experienced level mentees who consider themselves to have a disability, impairment, learning difference or long-term condition with disabled BBC mentors from across the UK. If you’re looking to progress your career in behind-the-camera and below-the-line roles in film and TV, you can apply to be a mentee via www.mediatrust.org/screenskills Applications are open until Thursday 30th September. Find further info about Reframing Disability on the 50:50 website. The Reframing Disability Mentoring Programme is supported by ScreenSkills as part of the BFI Future Film Skills programme using funds from the National Lottery.
