Right at the end of winter, we set off in search of Dubs Hut, a mountain bothy in the Lake District National Park. To get there, we'd be following the famous mountain biking route, the Borrowdale Bash. We'd actually tried to get to Dubs Hut before BUT got cut off by bad weather. And wouldn't you know it, this second time round we were racing a storm once again. The bothy is high up in the mountains in a very exposed location so it ended up being a whirlwind ride.
