WIND RIVER HIGH ROUTE: Day 4 - Halls Lake to Camp Lake

Join me and my friend Blake as we tackle a high route in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming, a big bucket list item for each of us. We opted to do the somewhat tamer route of 'Adventure' Alan Dixon and Don Wilson rather than the Andrew Skurka version. This was in part because of logistics and also to build up experience for a potential attempt at the Skurka version in the future. This video features highlights from day four of our seven day adventure as we make our way from our Halls Lake and across Europe Canyon to Long Lake hiking parallel with the Continental Divide. From there we head up over Hay Pass past Dennis Lake and drop down to the Golden Lakes. Tempted to camp there we opt to keep going up over a large unnamed pass to settle in at Camp Lake to put us at the footsteps of Alpine Lakes Basin, the biggest obstacle of the route.
